Reception children complete a Baseline Assessment during their first 6 weeks of school.

Year 1 children have their Phonics Screening Check the week commencing 8th June 2026.

Year 4 will sit the times tables /multiplication check within a two week period from Monday 1st June 2026.
Multiplication Check Parent Information
Year 6 children will sit their tests the week commencing 11th May 2026: it is essential all children are in school this week. Children in Year 6 sit SATS tests each school year. The tests are in Reading, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and Maths. Writing is assessed by the class teachers. If you were unable to attend the parents meeting at the start of the year and require more information about the SATS tests or phonics screening please speak to your child's class teacher.
