Local Partnerships

At Oasis Limeside we are extremely proud our partnership with Oldham Athletic. This is the boroughs only professional football club, and we want our community to support them! We have even named a class after the owner Frank Rothwell, who is a well-known figure within Oldham.  Through our partnership children are involved with in school sessions both indoor and outdoor including during lunchtimes. The children are equipped with new skills in football and team building, social and emotional understanding, team games and so much more.

We have already been involved with OACT competitions and tournaments and have recently taken six lucky children from Years 5 and 6 to play on the pitch at Boundary Park. Through the partnership we are able to offer tickets to cheer on our local club to our children and wider community. We loved our visit from Chaddy the Owl who flew in to meet the children and we have also had a recent visit from players from Oldham Athletic and our children asked questions based around healthy lifestyle and mental health.
