Role of Parents

At Oasis Academy Limeside we recognise that parents are their child’s first and most significant educators. We aim to work closely with families at all times, to build on your vital and enduring role. We believe that a close partnership between home and school promotes consistent care and helps children learn new skills.

To this end we support an open-door policy and welcome parents and carers to join in with the activities and workshops on offer throughout the year.

 Sharing information between home and school is essential to help children achieve more. Our staff will provide you with information about your child’s stages of development and achievements, together with appropriate ideas to support his/her learning at home. As a school we use an online learning tool called Class Dojo that enhances the link between home and school. Class Teachers regularly post updates, letters, photos and important information onto Dojo making the link between home and school as current and up to date as possible for both parents and children across the whole school.

We aim to develop parents/carers sessions to meet the holistic needs of the whole family, ensuring that the best outcomes can be achieved by all. To help us, please keep us informed of any events or milestones that may affect your child’s progress or well-being.
