A letter to Parents and Carers

Dear Parents

Thank you all for all your support last week and moving forward as we begin finding a new normal.

Thank you also to those of you who have collected your child’s iPad and learning pack. Thanks to the IT we now have available, there is a high expectation that all children will take part in each day’s lessons. We are moving towards as many live lessons as possible. With the IT resources and structures we have in place, there should be less pressure on parents than last lockdown.  Please ensure your child is ready to learn by 9:15 every morning, with their iPad, notebook and pencil. Class teachers will send out individual timetables. Please get in touch if you have any difficulties with your child accessing their learning. We will be following up children who are not taking part and / or submitting work.

If you have not yet collected your child’s learning pack from school, please arrange to do so as soon as possible. We can only release iPads to parents and following a signed horizon agreement.

We are expecting food hampers to arrive tomorrow for children who have free school meals. These will need to be collected from school. Further details as soon as the delivery arrives. Meanwhile if you need any support with food for your family, please contact us.

As always, we are here to answer any questions or concerns. Our staff are also learning to teach remotely and to manage the technical challenges so we appreciate your patience.

Best wishes

K.A.Maskell
