Autumn has landed in our Reception classes this week. We have been exploring all things Autumn and in every area Autumn has appeared. We have been making woodland animals in the playdough area, explored different autumnal objects in our talking table and also made leaf man pictures in our craft area.
At Oasis Limeside we are passionate about reading so this week we have been listening to Autumn stories and retelling them in our continuous provision time. Our favourite Autumn stories are The Squirrels that Squabbled and Percy the Park Keeper. Look at the pictures below and see us retelling one of the stories to our friends in front of the Autumn scene.
We have also visited our school woodland area this week and made some beautiful pieces of leaf art. We have loved talking about the changes in Autumn and enjoyed hunting for woodland animals in our woodland area.
