Eggciting Visitors

Reception are very eggcited today as they’ve welcomed 6 little chicks into the classroom today. We are still waiting for 3 eggs to hatch from our incubator and then we can move these into the Brooder box to join their friends. 

The children have loved listening to stories about chicks and eggs today and have really enjoyed setting up the Brooder box. "Shall we show the chicks our Limeside Way" is a quote one of our children has said this morning. "The farm is a chicks habitat" another has said. A very exciting day for all and we are very excited to be looking after these little, fluffy chicks for the next few weeks in school.
