Limeside goes to the Polls

Limeside goes to the Polls

The Red Party swept to victory, with the Green Party a close second when Key Stage 2 children voted in our own General Election.

Year 6 formed their own parties, wrote manifestos and presented them in speeches in assembly before the ballot opened.

The winning manifesto included plans to help the homeless by redistributing wealth; better health care and more hospitals and a proposal for a change in the working week to four days of work. Other popular proposals included the use of more bio-degradable plastic, astro turf in all playgrounds and a 0.5% national tax to ensure that everyone has clean water.
