This is an exciting new course which will be rolled out to all Oasis academies this year, but Limeside’s pupils attended the first pilot course. The pupils will be helping out around school keeping an eye on the other children, suggesting simple ways to help anyone who is upset or worried, informing adults of any concerns and helping to arrange wellbeing sessions in school.
All the pupils will be wearing Wellbeing Champions badges around school and have a Wellbeing Champions Handbook to help them.
Last week they arranged a series of events to help celebrate World Mental Health Day on Thursday 10th October.
